Aura-SomaOnline Catalogue | Courses | Aura-Soma |  | LEVEL 1 FOUNDATION COURSE AIMS The primary aims of the Level 1 Foundation course are to introduce the Student to the philosophy of Aura-Soma, to provide information about the tools offered within the Aura-Soma range including Equilibrium, Pomanders, Quintessences and Colour Essences. The course includes detailed information and practical experience of working with the four pillars. Students will have the opportunity to not only receive information about how to give a consultation but also practice time on interpreting Equilibrium selections. The course concentrates on viewing the four bottle selection as a whole picture and explores the relationship between the selected Equilibrium bottles.
COURSE CONTENT
- The principles of Aura-Soma as a non-intrusive self selective system
- Colour theory of primary, secondary and tertiary colours. Complementary colours. Visible and invisible spectrums
- Sympathetic resonance as a key to restoring balance
- The language of colour and the messages of colour at various levels
- Consultation procedure and interpretation of colour selections including the significance of the position of each Equilibrium bottle in the selection and the colour relationship between the Equilibrium bottles selected
- Guidance for making recommendations based on the clients selection
- Introduction to products and guidelines for their usage and their appropriateness
- An exploration of the specific messages and the interrelationships of many of the colour combination with the Equilibrium range
- Demonstration and practical work with a hand massage technique, foot massage technique and practical work with the aura and subtle energies
COURSE PREREQUISITES
Before commencing any Training course the student will need to sign the Student Agreement and give it to their Teacher. By signing the Student Agreement the Student agrees to be bound by the rules and regulations of the Academy as set out in the Student Agreement.
At the end of the Level 1 Foundation course the Student is entered on to the Aura-Soma Academy's Student Register and given a personal registration number by Aura-Soma (ASIACT). The Student then receives a Certificate of Attendance from the Aura-Soma Academy, which recognizes the Student's completion of this level of the Training. At this point the Student is not yet entitled to apply for a Aura-Soma Practising Certificate or give Aura-Soma Consultations to the public.
| | | | | | AURA-SOMA PRACTITIONER TRAINING SYSTEM The Aura-Soma Practitioner Training offers a comprehensive programme of courses developed over the last 15 years. These courses teach about colour and consciousness. They also introduce you to the Aura-Soma Colour System, its philosophy and how to work with it, both for yourself and others. Training may be approached as a vocational one leading to the qualification of being a fully trained Aura-Soma Practitioner. The Training also offers the opportunity for personal enrichment as you open to the healing and transformational energies of colour. The Four Levels of Training : There are four levels within the Practitioner training. The first three levels each involve 36 hours of attendance spread over a minimum of 6 days with an ASIACT accredited Aura-Soma teacher. These courses are named respectively:
- Level 1 Foundation - 6 days course - 36 hours of study
- Level 2 Intermediate - 6 days course - 36 hours of study
- Level 3 Advanced - 6 days course - 36 hours of study
- Level 4 Thesis - Home study
Students will receive course materials and workbooks as part of the training when they are available in the student’s native language. After completing these three levels you may go on to Level 4. This is a self-study module to be done in your own time. Completion of each level of the training leads to the issue of a Certificate of Attendance from ASIACT.
| | BECOMING AN AURA-SOMA PRACTITIONERYou may become an Aura-Soma Practitioner at any point after you have completed the first two levels of the Practitioner Training provided you agree to observe the standards and practices set out in the Aura-Soma Practitioner Guide. Practitioners receive a Practicing Certificate and are listed on ASIACT’s Practitioner Register. To keep Practitioners up to date with the Aura-Soma Colour System the Renewal Process has been created. This nurtures the development of Practitioner skills and may be seen as a continuing professional development programme.
Time between Courses: All students should make time to assimilate the material presented on a course before attending the next level in the Training. The Academy recommends students allow at least four months between attending courses for this assimilation to occur effectively and so deeper levels of understanding can be found. Certificates : At the end of each level of the Training the Student will receive a Certificate of Attendance which recognizes the Student’s completion of this level of the Training. Once Level 2 has been completed students can apply for a Practicing Certificate, which enables them to describe themselves as an Aura-Soma Practitioner and Aura-Soma Consultations to the public.

Rachael Burnett is a ASIACT Registered Level 4 Aura-Soma Practitioner and Accredited Aura-Soma Teacher. Rachael Teaches courses in Glastonbury and has been working with Aura-Some since 1999 and completed all her training at Aura-Soma’s training centre in Lincolnshire.
