COLOUR OF SOUND INSTITUTE TRAINING We are linked with The Colour of Sound Instiute who are a specialist training company who provide accredited professional practitioner training in both Sacred Sound Therapy and the Aura-Soma Colour Therapy System. Their Sacred Sound Therapy courses are approved by the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA) and our Aura-Soma Training course are accredited by Aura-Soma International Training Academy (ASIACT).
They also offer various colour and sound related workshops as well as introductory days for those new to colour and sound and regular update training in the form of sharing days and weekends for qualified practitioners of Sacred Sound Therapy and Aura-Soma.
Their courses and workshops are taught by Rachael Burnett P.ASIACT, T.ASIACT, M.IAC, BCMA Reg. Rachael has been working with both Sacred Sound and the Aura-Soma system for many years. Rachael is a registered Aura-Soma Practitioner and Teacher and member of the International Association of Colour. Rachael's has a BCMA license to teach Sacred Sound.
Rachael created our own unique curriculum of Sacred Sound Therapy Practitioner Training and Workshops which have been assessed and approved by the BCMA. All Sacred Sound Students and Practitioners can become members of the BCMA. All our Aura-Soma courses are accredited by ASIACT and students can become registered practitions with ASIACT upon completion of the Aura-Soma Level 2 Practitioner course. Our unique Sacred Sound Therapy system of training was created, developed, written and is now taught by Rachael who is an experienced sacred sound practitioner and teacher, with a wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding of this ancient healing art. This beautiful system weaves together ancient instruments, tools and techniques found in spiritually advanced cultures around our mother earth and include: Tibetan and Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, Gongs, Shamanic Drumming, Mantra, Grounding Instruments and much more.
The Aura-Soma colour therapy system was created over 25 years ago by Vicky Wall. Today it can be found in countries all over the world. It is one of the most recognised and respected colour therapy systems available today.
Rachael Burnett is the principal of the Colour of Sound Institute (COSI). The main intention behind the institute is the wish to free all from the suffering that the vast majority of us carry with us on a daily basis and which manifests in a variety of both subtle and obvious situations, circumstances, events and dis-ease etc. Part of the journey that each of us must take with sacred sound and Colour Therapy if we are to really make a difference is upon our own personal path. It is extremely important that we learn to recognise and transcend our own suffering before we can recognise and release another’s. It is through altruistic intent that we have the possibility to let go of suffering and walk the path of service. This path can lead us towards individuals who ask for our help and with the right amount of wisdom and compassion we can begin to bring about the transformation of the suffering of others on many levels. This is in no way meant in a 'fluffy' way but in the true spirit of service and with the intention to help others with the faith that you are in the right place at the right time doing the best that you can do.
The Colour of Sound Institute was established as a result of the firm belief Rachael felt from deep within of the immense possibilities of sound and colour as an ancient art for healing, transformation and spiritual development. Rachael also created the institute in order to meet the increasing demand for professional training which not only maintains exceptional standards through its structured, organised and professional practitioner training system, but also to maintain a professional register of trained practitioners of both Sacred Sound and Colour Therapy as a source of information and guidance to the general public, professional bodies and practitioners.
The institute provides an outstanding training and development programme, of an extremely high professional standard, whilst remaining cost effective and open and available to all.
