This course is the starting point for all students of Sacred Sound Therapy with the Colour of Sound Institute. This course allows students to build strong Sacred Sound Therapy skills, gain experience, through guidance and support in order to progress to the practitioner level training. This course is designed for those who are both beginners to complementary therapy as well as experienced therapists.
On the foundation level training you will learn about the history, source, creation and uses of various Sacred Sound instruments. You will also learn how to, experience and work with Sacred Sound Therapy instruments which stem from many ancient cultures around the world including:
· Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls
· Tibetan Singing Bowls
· Balinese Bells & Space Clearing
· Rhythm and grounding tools
· Sanskrit and Tibetan Mantra
On this course you will have the opportunity to practically work with each of the Sacred Sound Therapy instruments individually, in pairs as well as through group work. You will learn about the importance of cleansing and clearing Sacred Sound instruments, clients and yourself using various effective techniques and methods.
This course includes detailed scientific and spiritual theories of Sacred Sound Therapy, including practical and professional techniques of working with others as well as methods for individual meditation and healing.
The detailed course content, teaching practices and practical exercises ensure that a strong and firm foundation is built and which can be used in order to build a career as a professional Sacred Sound Therapy Practitioner. This course gives students fully comprehensive Sacred Sound Therapy skills, combined with hands on experience of working with the numerous Sacred Sound instruments, thus providing students with the skills to confidently work with friends and family, before attending the practitioner level training course.
As part of the training course you will receive a detailed and comprehensive Foundation level manual and back up support from the Institute and your tutor.
This course is designed for those who either wish to become qualified Sacred Sound Therapy Practitioners in the future or those who wish to gain a more intensive and greater understanding of Sacred Sound Therapy for themselves. Students do not need any Sound Therapy experience or instruments to attend this course.
This course includes 36 hours of training taught over a minimum of 6 days.

| | | | Sacred Sound Therapy - Practitioner Level TrainingThis course is the next level of the Institutes Sacred Sound Therapy training and follows on from the foundation level training course, which you must have attended in order to qualify for this course. This course adds to the foundation levels understanding, experience and theory of the scientific and spiritual nature of Sacred Sound Therapy. This course teaches at a much deeper level incorporating intensive levels of theory and practice in order to work professionally and effectively as a future Sacred Sound Therapy practitioner.
As well as acquiring greater understanding and experience of each Sacred Sound instrument covered on the foundation course you will also be introduced to several new instruments including:
· Specialist Crystal Singing Bowls
· Symphonic Gongs
· Native American Drum
You will have the opportunity to work with each of these new instruments individually, in pairs as well as through group work. This course will incorporate a mixture of theory and practical work, enabling you to gain in-depth knowledge and experience in order for you to not only learn but also fully understand and integrate professional working practices and key skills of the professional Sacred Sound complementary therapy practice.
This course covers extensively the role of practitioner including code of ethics, client confidentiality, professional conduct, data protection, client case histories, client/ therapist relationship and client recommendations.
On this course you will learn how to gain a deeper connection to both your clients and your Sacred Sound instruments. You will explore Sacred Sound in terms of origin and make up in order to reflect best practices as part of the therapy process. You will lean how to effectively identify imbalances when working with clients and how to balance imbalances using the holistic identification and treatment approach to Sacred Sound Therapy.
On this course you will extend extensively upon the knowledge and wisdom gained on the foundation course pertaining to Sanskrit Mantras, including the use of mantras as part of the therapy process and recommending mantras to clients. This course will also teach a detailed step-by-step guide of professional and effective Sacred Sound Therapy treatment for clients, from meeting and greeting the client, to taking case histories, identifying and effectively treating imbalances, the giving of recommendations and finally client aftercare.
During this course you will be continually assessed and supported by your tutor. Throughout the course you will have various individual meetings with you tutor to discuss your level of skill, practice and understanding. If it is applicable additional training and support will be provided. Continuous assessment ensures each student is at the proper level of skill, practice and understanding required by the Institute in order to effectively work with the general public. As part of the training course you will receive a comprehensive and detailed Practitioner level manual, back up and support from the institute and your tutor.
Upon successful completion of this course the next step in your training is to become a qualified practitioner of the Institute. The first step in achieving this is to complete each section of the post course practitioner thesis work as set out by the Institute and includes:
· Completion and write up 60 Sacred Sound client case histories
· Complete 16 Sacred Sound question as set out by the Institute with a minimum of 10,000 words in total
· Organise a Sacred Sound research program, as set out by the Institute with 10 participants and post research write up of a with a minimum 2,000 words
Full details will be given at the end of the course and can be found in the student handbook given to each student at the beginning of each course. Students will also be eligible to apply for Associate Practitioner status with the Institute upon successful completion and passing of the Practitioner training course. Yearly Sacred Sound Therapy update training is required in order to maintain both Associate Practitioner and Full Practitioner’ memberships. Although you do not need Sacred Sound instruments to attend this course, you will need Sacred Sound Instruments if you wish to complete the post course practitioner thesis work.

| | | | Sacred Sound Therapy - Advanced Practitioner Level TrainingThis is the final level of training following the foundation and practitioner training courses and you must have attended, completed and passed both of these courses to qualify for this course. You must have completed and passed the post course practitioner thesis work and be a registered Full Sacred Sound Therapy Practitioner member with the Institute. You must also have been practicing as a Sacred Sound Therapy practitioner for at least six months following the passing of your post course practitioner thesis work. You must be a fully insured as a Sacred Sound Therapy Practitioner.
This course is designed for those deeply committed to the inner and outer study of Sacred Sound. It will help you to come to new levels of understanding in relation to your clients, instruments, Sacred Sound and your Self in order to work wholly and totally in accordance with Divine will and the greater good of all. This course will incorporate instruments from both levels of the training, but at an deeply intensive level both outwardly and inwardly.
On this course you will also have the opportunity to bring your own Sacred Sound instruments to work with, in order for you to be attuned to and understand them at a deeply profound level. Incorporated into this course will be the Lady Nada Sound Initiation to attune you to the energies of the Nada Sound Sphere in a truly meaningful way.
This course is for those who want to take their Sacred Sound therapy work to the next level on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. Sound meditations, intensive mantra work and harmonic performances will be combined so that each unique individual will take with them a more profound understanding of both their clients and themselves. This course will be tailored to the unique individuals attending and is normally offered as a three-day intensive retreat in order to build up the Sacred Sounds and energies for each student. Each student will spend time working both individually and in groups using a variety of Sacred Sound instruments.
You will also have the opportunity to spend individual time one on one with your tutor to harness and expand upon your own unique potential with Sacred Sound. You will be given time to explore any specific areas of Sacred Sound which you may wish to specialise in and or which may need some additional guidance or support.
This course includes 18 hours of training taught over a minimum of 3 days.

This workshop is ideal for those who wish to take time for themselves to relax, heal and recharge with the exquisite and outstandingly beautiful tones of numerous sacred sound instruments from every corner of the earth.
You will attain much ancient knowledge and wisdom as to the practices, techniques and methods of sacred sound for personal peace, calm and serenity. Much time will given in order for each unique individual to fully experience the magical, healing and deeply enchanting sacred sounds through meditations, healing experiences and personal practices.
Throughout this workshop you will be introduced to a variety of sacred sound instruments including the breathtaking harmonic tones of both Tibetan and quartz crystal singing bowls, as well as the powerful presence of symphonic gongs, combined with numerous rhythm and grounding tools. The aim of this workshop is that each person can take with them a unique experience that will touch the very core of their being, in order that this essence is interweaves in daily practices, meditations, healing work and spiritual advancement.
To attend this workshop you no sacred sound healing experience or tools as they will be provided. When experiencing sacred sound it can be beneficial to lie down and therefore if you wish to do so, please bring comfortable cushions and throws.
